The rising tuition fees have essentially made debt the norm for students. According to the BBC and the Guardian, graduates are expected to have a student debt in the region of £53,000-£60,000.
This event aims to inspire students to realise that debt is not the only way. We have a panel of current university students who are making their way debt-free. Each one will explain:
1. What motivated them to decide to opt against the student loans.
2. How they are raising the sufficient funds to cover the cost of their degree.
3. Advice they feel current and future students could benefit from.
The event is usually followed by a Q&A as well as an informal session where attendees will be able to ask the panel any relevant questions.
